Vibra-Tite Thread Sealants
Vibra-Tite offers a full line of anaerobic -curing thread sealants. When applied to threaded components and installed in mating metal parts, these threads sealant provide sturdy, reliable protection against loosening caused by vibration and shock, solvent evaporation, damaged threads, or tape shredding.
Anaerobic thread sealants are formulated to be applied to a metal fastener and installed into a metal assembly before curing. Installing the threaded fastener creates a nearly-airless (anaerobic) environment and provides direct contact between the sealant and active metal surfaces. These factors cause a chemical reaction which hardens the pipe sealant into a thermoset plastic that locks and seals the fastener in place.
