Solid Stainless Steel Rivets
Solid stainless steel rivets are stainless steel fasteners that have solid construction designed for use in demanding applications. They are used for permanent installation applications and are installed into pre-drilled holes using a rivet hammer or gun that deforms the tail and causes the rivet to expand, permanently joining the two parts. Stainless steel solid rivets provide high tensile strength and temperature resistance, and are extremely resistant to corrosion.
Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet, Inc. offers stainless steel rivets made from 18-8 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel. As one of the oldest types of fasteners, solid stainless steel rivets are known for their reliability and are commonly used for structural applications but are also suitable for aerospace, military, and more.

Stainless Steel Solid Rivets with High Tensile Strength and Corrosion Resistance
Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet, Inc. provides domestic stainless steel fasteners in a wide range of head styles, lengths and diameters to meet your application requirements. We offer a choice of three stainless steel materials to provide you with strength, durability and corrosion resistance for demanding applications.Read our stainless steel solid rivet technical papers for additional information on shank diameter, head diameter, head height and head radius for each stainless steel rivet head style.
Solid Stainless Steel Rivet Options
Selecting a stainless steel rivet head style, material, length and diameter depends on your application requirements. Diameter should match the diameter of your pre-drilled holes and the length needs to be sufficient for your part or material thickness. A universal head rivet or round head rivet are ideal for standard applications, where a countersunk rivet head is best for improved aerodynamics.View our rivet identification chart to learn more about the features and benefits of various head styles and markings.
