Cleco Temporary Rivets for All Applications

Cleco fasteners (sometimes spelled “cleko”) are installed in pre-drilled holes to hold materials in place; those same holes are usually used to install the permanent rivet later, with the cleco rivet being removed prior to permanent rivet installation. Cleco fasteners expand on the opposite sides of the workpieces, then draw and clamp them together. They help maintain the proper alignment for permanent rivet installation, and prevent distortion.
Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet offers cleco fasteners in all “standard” sizes, with grip range for material thicknesses from 0” to 1/2”. Cleco rivets are color coded for easy identification—each size is a different color. These temporary fasteners require sheet holder pliers for proper installation.
