Blind Threaded Studs
Blind threaded studs, sometimes referred to as pull up studs, provide strong external threads on metal surfaces in blind applications. These fasteners are easy to install using spin/spin tooling.
Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet stocks blind threaded studs in a wide array of unified and metric thread sizes, diameters, and lengths, making it easy to find the right fastener for your unique needs. Specifying Blind Threaded Studs
NOTE: The “L” dimension is the height of the installed stud at max grip. The height of the stud will increase if it is installed into thinner material. To calculate “actual L” use this formula: max grip - actual grip + L = “actual L”
Thread Specifications:
Unified - 2A/21 per ASME B1.1
Metric - 6G/21 per ASME B1.13M
Blind Threaded Studs for All Applications
When installed, the body of a blind threaded stud collapses on the back (blind) side, giving the fastener a firm grip on the inside of the mounting surface. We maintain a huge, in-stock inventory of blind threaded studs. Use the filters at left to search for blind threaded inserts by thread size, grip range, stud length, diameter, or other key measurements.
