Plastic Binder Post and Screws

A post and screw binder is a type of fastener that consists of an internally-threaded, barrel-shaped boss (post) with a protruding flange and a corresponding machine screw. The post is installed in a drilled hole in the surface or part being joined; the flange provides the bearing surface. The matching screw is inserted into the hole from the opposite side and threaded into the post, creating a flush surface when tightened. Also called Chicago screws, barrel nuts, or connector bolts, post and screw binders provide a low-profile option for numerous fastening applications.

Plastic Binder Posts Sizing Guide

Large, low profile matching slotted heads on both the post and screw allow for a nice, clean look. Screw can be pushed in for fast assembly. For best results, insert screw length completely.

Removable and reusable. Each assembly consists of one post and one screw. Binding capacity is determined by length of post used. Otherwise known as Quick-Connect or Adjust-A-Locks
